It's a total nightmare. Some of the track supports... they make the tower structure of X2's lift look easy.

Here's a shot of the lift. I am trying to do what other X2 recreaters haven't done and extended the lift.

the lift goes a little past the peak of the hill. In the recreations I've seen that the lift just stops at the top of the hill (red). I took a better look and realized it ends a little farther into the ride(green).

Well, it does that so I don't see why not; it runs a little bit too long though, once the actual chain starts to enter the pull up you know you've gone too far.

okay...uh...anywaaaaaaays back to the ride. I finished supporting the outside raven turn at the end. Turns out it's not a complete Zacspin type of supporting but its divided into a complex support structure and a half-A structure. There are a lot of seams but they can be fixed with a little bit of extra tubing.

In the background you can see that the box structure doesn't exactly look geometrically sound, the tower supports were the same. I still don't quite understand why X was supported like this.

hmmmm its going to be tough... i'm not too good at 3ds. OC only has so much power. plus i think a viper 3ds would lag my computer to the extent where i can't even run NL. I will take some 3ds help though later when the supports are done ;)

If you look behind the flames you can see some awkward supportage. that's another thing i don't understand. Arrow's the first company to build 270 degree supports on a wingrider!

Good, job with the fire effect. Will you be changing the ground texture to sand?
YES!

Actually I'm going to have to look at google maps a little closer since only small regions are sand, most of the area is solid concrete or just arid grass.
