i am planning to get a copy of xp pro x64 edition w/ sp2 to bootcamp onto my intel iMac with a 2 GHz core duo CPU, should i get it with 64 bit support or just the regular 32 bit edition, beause i'm not sure if my CPU is just 2 cores, or 64 bits

2 cores isn't a 64 bit processor.

I currently am running the x64 edition. Its nothing all that special really. There arn't any programs out yet to really take advantage of the 64 bit. But it is nice to know that whenever I install a 64bit driver for my graphics card that it installs in literally 5 seconds. Thats about all it does for me.

On the downside of things though is the lack of printer drivers, they are just now starting to be released but if you have an older printer there may not be a way to use it because of lack of drivers.

You wont see any difference until you start doing some heavy work in 64 bit coded applications.
