The floorless loopers replaced regular B&M loopers

And are the floorless ones really any better?

I was at Hallowscream this weekend (saturday) and when I was on Lochness Monster going through the prelift I saw the prelift up for Griffon its the same as Sheikra's but it just looked so delicious.

My oh my! This coaster is certainly looking good! And from the Virtual onride it looks even better an Sheikra! But it certainly does not look shorter than sheikra! I was astounded to read about that it will be shorter. Amd with this new seating system with the wider trains and floorless view, it certainly looks like a smash hit!
But is it me or does Griffon need the WOW factor that oblivion and G5 has of an underground tunnel? As there is no experience like Oblivion dropping 60 feet into that tunnel and still going deeper and deeper untill you reach the deepest point of the 120ft underground! Anyone agree?

Holla!

This ride is going to be amazing. I'm curious how themed the station area will be if It's anything like Apollos Chariot I'll cry.

Thanks coolbeans for posting that! Lots of stuff in there that I didn't notice! Something that really made me kiss Mr. Bolliger's feet is how he designed each of the three Griffon Trains will format the Water Splash differently...what a genius. Also, very cool how this will have 10-across coaches instead of only 8, which were used for SheiKra.
1-Millennium Force | 2-Intimidator 305 | 3-Fury 325
4-Skyrush | 5-Iron Rattler | 6-X2 | 7-Kingda Ka
8-Voyage | 9-Maverick | 10-Monster

This ride for sure is going to make the dive machine market expan. Really these coasters are amazing, and can't wait to ride this ride one day.

Somebody wants an update...

*Just so I don't get yelled at for dbl posting*

Personally I think that BGE sohuld have chosen a different layout. Since it would be in another area they wouldnt of had to DESTROY[:(!] the best car ride in the world, Le Mans raceway...I mean I'm happy with Griffon's layout...I just wish it was some where else.

BGE didnt really choose it, Bolliger suggested it was the best spot because it had the most interaction. Blame B&M ;)

You could ask, but I don't think he's really into that.

I'm upset that he's clean-shaven now. When I met him several years ago, he had a sexy, bushy mustache. Now he just looks old.
My body isn't a temple. It's an amusement park.

I actually drove by BGE and saw a glimpse of it from 64. It's a lot taller than I expected it to be in person and gives the park a better skyline.

The rest of the track got done really quickly. I mean I guess it's not that hard when it's all short and not as immense as the first drop or the lift.

Anyone know if it's gonna be open for opening day? I doubt it, but then again I've never paid attention to the construction of any of their rides.
