If you just got off the ride I understand why it's not steady.

Nah that was from my house. They ran out of shirts within 2 hours of opening.

Awesome ride. Completely relentless and the 200 degree stall is amazing. This ride wants to throw you out!

^Can you even fit your phone in your pocket? These new RMCs are on my hit list but it sucks they're so far from me. That being said, I'm spoiled in Texas with 3 RMCs reasonably close.

Little Easter Egg I found last Sunday:
Every now and then the TV's in the queue will play a "storm forecast" thing and the two reporters names are William Schilke and Alan Cobb.

Finally got my first backseat ride! It was insane and out of control. The drop was awesome as it tried to throw you out and the turns were vicious. Aboslutely adore this ride.

Side note: It seems that Scream is running the combo cycle for good. This is awesome you get the shot mode and drop mode!

Upon riding WC many times (13 Rides) I've started to notice a few problems. The first 7 rides were somewhat slow, but they've also came with some loud squeaking throughout the layout, which I found annoying but not too bad. Now it goes faster, almost a 5 second difference from when I rode before (Kyle Sloane and I timed it). It actually sounds very similar to a B&M.

The bad thing is that there's this really uncomfortable 'vibrating' effect on most of the turnarounds. When I say vibrating, it's not painful or anything, but it causes a loud low pitch vibrating noise around the turns, as well as a really uncomfortable feeling on the turns. It's almost comparable to the annoyance of a fork on a plate, or fingernails on a chalkboard... Still a great ride though, I've ridden in the very back twice and I agree that going over the lift gives some massive ejector airtime.

I love the noise! It reminds me of the old Cyclone's screeching. I think of it as the ghost of the old Cyclone.

Don't get me wrong, the ride is downright insane. After riding it so many times it still hasn't gotten old. The airtime is insane and the pacing just never lets down. Really great ride!

Another thing no one really mentions is the major headchopper on the ride. After the first G roll, you get very close to an I beam, and the fact that your going upwards gives it the illusion that it's closer.

Here's the actual I beam

That squeaking noise is the springs in the wheel assembly which constantly push the wheels to the track, which is why RMC trains are really smooth. One of the reason Drachen Fire was so rough for example is because there is about an inch-wide gap between the wheels and the track, and that makes all the difference. Unlike Arrow, B&M and Intamin measure their wheels within millimeters to make sure their rides are smooth, and RMC took it one step further.

I think its an observation.

If you watch the upstop wheels on any B&M they tend to rotate regardless of where the force is acting. Arrows seem to have - check out this video at Cedar Point (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dF_NWuzmcm0). It's much easier to see first hand than videos as it's hard to see if the wheels are actually turning.

I've always believed the same though never had any proof outside of my experiences.

^^Joel from The Coaster Critic got on a tour of BGW and the maintenance guys showed them an Arrow wheel assembley with a piece of track and the gap was definitely there. They also explained why DF was so rough and their B&M's are much smoother, but I'm just paraphrasing. If I could find the article I would link it.

Also DF and other arrows are rough because the track geometry is, uh, not up to date in relation to B&Ms. It's not just the wheel assemblies.

Also my understanding is it's easier to keep track to a tighter tolerance (both initially and over time) when the crossties are inside the wheels. That's another reason arrows needed a large gap.
