At least when I rode it (quite a while ago, 2007 or so maybe) it shuffled like mad the entire ride. Definitely NOT smooth.

I would have to say Hurler. Very rough, boring layout, little airtime.

Hurler was pretty awful last time I rode it too, but there are reasons for that. Shockwave was just a terribly built ride lol

Heres a good few.
Psyclone (sfmm)- Thank god it is gone. (All though I have heard apocalypse was gone to doodoo). Worst wooden coaster I have ridden the whole time it's just waiting for it to stop. Made mean streak look like nothing.

Viper (sfgadv)- It's a togo.. do I need to explain more?

Wildcat (Hershey)- Though this was great coasters first official coaster, and the layout is amazing in my opinion; this ride needs a serious retrack. One of the worst aging gci's I have ridden. Those millennium flyers just shuffle across the whole layout making what could be an amazing ride just unbearable.

Any wildmouse that isn't a Gerstlaur bobsled coaster.

Probably T3, not positive though.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Any Boomerang coaster, I always get a little sick on those coasters. I avoid riding those at all costs.

But Gwazi never had anything to headbang on
Ok but how desperate you have to be to voluntarily fly from another country to go to Thorpe?

T3 is worse because of the new restraints.
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Apparently you haven't ridden T3. Those KumbaK (Or as we say in Dutch: Kutbak) trains make the ride experience even worse. Give me any other SLC over that one.

Beast has received a LOT of work in the last few years. My rides on it last year were among the smoothest rides i've ever had on a full size wood coaster.

In 2007 it was absolutely brutal and one of the roughest rides I had ever been on, bettered (worsted?) only by the other two wood coasters at KI at the time.

As for Psyclone, anyone who had been on it... before the quake? I heard like that was rideable. :(

Goliath used to be so good with the old trains. I miss opening year Goliath it was easily best in the park.

Apocalypse at Six Flags America is probably my least favorite. It's a stand-up for starters, rough transitions, a boring layout and headbanging contribute to this choice. Great American Scream Machine at SFOG and Steamin Demon at Great Escape are up there too

While the 2nd... 2/3rds of the ride was crap, I actually loved the opening sequence on Shockwave.

Good first drop > loop > into floater air and then diving while banking practically on your side.

Shame they didn't build it as a sitdown.

I'm tremendously glad I wasn't the only one thinking Beast. Hit it with some dynamite. Boring, uneventful, needlessly rough, ugly, trimmed to absolute hell and back.

I went to Worlds of Fun this weekend and rode Timberwolf. Not a bad layout or anything but holy crap did it hurt! Leaving the ride I said to myself, "Rode that one, now I never have to ride it again." They need to do something with that thing.

GOOD RIDDANCE.

Shockwave at Drayton Manor made me understand the very real fear of actual death.
Cradled by two loving arms that I'd die for,
One little kiss and Felina goodbye.

A few years ago when I rode it I didn't think it was that bad. Has it gotten worse the last few years? I do remember that the loop wasn't very comfortable which is very strange because I think that a loop is normally one of the easiest things to make smooth.
