Heck, even Millennium Force has some good floater airtime as well as that one bunny hop with ejector.

Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Is that the picture or did they clean the entire ride structure. That wood looks brand new almost.

I think it's just the way the sun hits it. Cedar Fair wouldn't spend a bunch of money on a ride they knew was going to be torn down. Six Flags was so lazy when Mean Streaks sister was in her final days that red train managed to derail and valley short of safety brake.

The track is still the old color(part being torn out) but the supports seem different(part staying)

Must be planning for 2017 then. Im thinking they'll make an announcement at the last day open on the 30th.

It was taken at like 8AM probably while the sun is rising and reflecting hardcore off the lake. And I still think this is all going to be prep work for 2018 despite the steel pieces being on-site already.

Even though there is steel already on site, I'm doubtful this project is for 2017. Given the timeline of previous RMC projects, the earliest possible opening would be late June/early July, and that would be assuming everything went perfectly. Additionally, Cedar Point just added Valravn this year and has already announced a major addition for 2017, so the benefit of a new coaster next year would be reduced. I think it's more likely that we're looking at possibly the biggest RMC project yet, and given the unpredictable nature of Ohio winters RMC is getting started now so they can be 100% certain it will be ready opening day 2018. RMC supposedly is planning a big announcement at IAAPA next month, so perhaps we'll know more then.

Yeah especially given the teething problems RMC has been having (Colossus fire / Lightning Rod issues, if it was a launched RMC). It's probably been biting them in the ass a little bit.

because its so painfully obvious CP contracted RMC to and install 20 ledgers on Mean Streak as a troll, then demolish the rest of it.
