I'm pretty sure it is an IMAscore track.

I'll be at SFNE tomorrow and will miss the livestream :( hopefully they keep it up on youtube.

Looks like an incredible ride! Should have some great G's in the turns and get really snappy when it's broken in more.

So, it's just a bunch of banked turns... airtime looked minimal :/
Oh, were you expecting something here?

OMG I NEED TO RIDE THIS. This just made my bucket list holy crap the theming looks absolutely amazing, better than most Disney attractions in my opinion. There's nothing I want more in the world than to visit Phantasialand and ride this. The amount of small intricacies in the theming really shows how much effort went into this one attraction. While I know everything there is fake, the theming is done to such a great detail that one can truly shut out the real world and feel encompassed in this world.

A disclaimer about the POV, it's mounted right above the track whereas riders will be elevated. The POV is definitely not any indication of how the ride actually feels, the rider cam video was definitely faster than the normal POV. This is because what the rider experiences is extremely different than what the bogie experiences.

Area walkthrough:

Taron looks freaking amazing! Awesome theming and the launches look super intense (especially the second one). The S-bends at the end look like they'll really be whipping everyone around -- probably not many hands up in the air at those points. :P

Lucky those who won't just be lucky if they get to go to a new park or ride a new coaster at all.... for at least the next ten years. D:

I can imagine it feels even faster when you're at rider level and surrounded by the scenery. This looks incredible and I guess it does look a little airtimeless but I don't think that airtime is needed to make this ride great. The layout is amazing and some of the turns and sections look pretty intense. Hopefully a better pov is released where the camera is not so close to the track!!

Friends of me visited Taron Yesterday (I currently can`t because of agorafobia) and also some this morning.
Their reactions:

"Fantastic wicked ride, especially on the left"

When I asked if it came even near to the experience of Maverick. Also how the second launch is compared to Maverick they said:
"2e launch can`t be compared. Maverick has a lifthill and stops for second launch. Taron keeps on going the entire run. For most multi-launch coasters the second launch is a bit weak but with Taron it is realy good!"

"I personally think Taron is better then Maverick. Taron is longer, more comfortable, more intens, and more insane then Maverick in it`s overall experience. The only two tracks that can compete with Maverick are Skyrush and Helix. These tracks are missing theming which Taron has a lot"

I asked if they don`t have a feeling that something is missing like the inversions:
"Not at all. Inversions would not be suited for Taron. It would mess up the cool flow that Taron has"

Another response:
"I`m a big fan of Maverick. But I like Taron even a bit more."
"I would define Taron as intense and suprising. There is barely a moment of peace. It throws you many times from left to right in ridiculous tight turns, has good airtime and two powerfull launches. It gives you a feeling of freedom. At night your mind cannot keep up with the turns, bizarre.

Another good POV from in the seat:

For me without riding it (maybe next week, if I get better) the ride looks like the perfect No Limits simulation coaster.

Raik looks really good too. Pretty slow on the return run, though that's usually the case on Vekoma Jr. Boomerangs.

Back seat ride on Taron really shows how fast you really whip through the turns. Wow!
