That's a strange support. I know it's because of the section that runs underneath the lift but still.

It's always exciting to see pictures of a new coaster goign up. This is one park I have never had the opportunity to hit. but really want to visit.

I'm actually very excited for Mako, even though I probably won't be able to ride it for a few more years. If its airtime is anything like Diamondback's, it should be an awesome ride!

Call me crazy but I didn't actually get much airtime on Diamondback. Perhaps it was the seating choice.

^Your right. Seating choice decides the amount of airtime you get on DBack. I prefer middle to back. Wishing my chem trip took us to Sea World and universal but we're just going to Disney...I wanna ride everything lol

Not directly Mako related, but news is going around about SWO's SkyTower getting stuck with 50 passengers aboard.

ORLANDO, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - SeaWorld Orlando confirms that its iconic Sky Tower attraction is presently stuck. While no one is in immediate danger, according to park officials, some passengers have been calling 911 to report to the incident .

SeaWorld says it is working closely with Orange County Fire Rescue to quickly and safely remove 50 park guests who are on the ride. "We are in constant communication with the guests and team members on the ride, and all passengers are safe. The safety of our guests and team members is SeaWorld's top priority," read a statement sent to FOX 35 by SeaWorld.

^^ I want to see a Sky "Freefall" Tower thing in the future! Well it has to be milder than an Intamin Drop, though, due to double-deck weight. Faster than any other Parachute Drops.

I was trying to say "a Gyro Sky Tower with a Tower Of Terror-like (nearly at 40mph - neither slow nor fast) drop".



^ I found a pretty good definition for g-forces felt on an elevator. The author is also talking about the state of weightlessness by quoting examples of his flight experience.
