How heavy is a piece of track like that? (First video)

This is just a guess, but:

Looking at the length of the track section and scaling the size of box section and tubular steel used in it's construction, and based on a few assumptions about the wall thickness of the box sections and tubes, I would say something like 400kg. Less than half a metric ton.

Lol, I thought the video to be pretty interesting. You can get a more true understanding of how big the first turn is (for those who haven't been to BGT). I also noticed that the turn has a really interesting shape to it. It has a very sharp lead in, followed by a slight decrease in degree and a long sort of "airy" section, which is probably followed by a speedy drop into a trench, fast launch, blah blah blah.

Lol sorry, but that's my hippy view on it. At least we get to see the train on the track a little...
So, my friend came up to me the other day and asked if I wanted a frozen banana, and I said no, but I want a normal banana later, so... yea.

Transfer track would have been more interesting than this poop

Not that theres nothing interesting but really, why use website bandwidth? Hey, its his website, he can do as he pleases. But untill theres something really exclusive - thats what youtube and vemo or whatever it is are for.

i agree. It was dumb. Of course i skipped through most of the video upon the second show case of the roll back so I might have only wasted a minute of my time. Thank god.

Only one thing in that whole video impressed me and it was an airtime hill...
Boulder Dash was the only good roller coaster.

Lol everyone's "interpretation" of that when they copy it in No Limits is going to pace twice as fast as that.

I think it looks like it'll be a lot of fun. Definitely not a #1 ride, but it's still going to be a good addition to BGA.

The scenery is very impressive. Not especially dense like a Disney ride, but very high quality throughout from what I've seen in some pictures.

It looks really fun. I mean, sure it's no SheiKra, but I think it will still be an entertaining ride. Not every ride has to be an El Toro to have fun on.
