Just to let ya'll know...If IntaminFan pulls of those supports that will help out his coaster GREATLY and really add to the interaction...and plus I think they look pretty sexy.

I have ridden NMR you know, and it's fricken awesome how it rides on top and around everything at Cliff's.

2 major differences between the NMR and IF397's ride:

1. NMR has got 'pillars' on the paths, IF397 can't place any support on the paths, and thus the span will be huge.
2. NMR hasn't got wide structures, they go straight down, or has one level of extended supports. IF397's ride will have to withen the supports all the way to the edge of the path, which IMO will look unrealistic and silly.

Intaminfan, where are the rides you're building over like Cornball? Oh wait you can't build over rides, my bad.

A coaster's not a painting but an aesthetically pleasing coaster is a hell of a lot better than an unpainted piece of crap with a station made of a tarp and some old fence posts. It's not just made for thrill, if coaster's didn't look nice, parks wouldn't have the same atmosphere.

And the NMR thing looks good, but do you have any idea how hard it will be for you to do that?

Well.. good luck.. I guess..

I'm putting a lot of time and effort into every aspect of this coaster. And it's not very hard to make a coaster both realistic and aesthetically pleasing...

1. The span may be large, but making realistic supports that could hold up the track over those paths is very doable.
2. You'll see how it will look when it's finished. [;)] I think it will look quite different than what you expect.

Where in the rules does it say the red lines are the only areas that rides can be in the park?

I've been secretly building an entry, but just now I decided to participate. Is it still possible to sign-up? My track is nearly complete.

^with all "1-round-contests" the sign-up deadline is the same and the hand-in deadline. The sign-up list is a way for the judge have an indication of the participants, some who sign-up don't send in a track, others don't sign up but still send in a track

May we have a small lift segment during the ride if it's used only for an anti-rollback sound effect and has no effect at all on the train's speed?

That's fine as long as it does NOT propel the train in any way to gain any speed.

Anyways, ya'll have 2 more days!
